Recorded with one crappy room mic and totally unmastered. Redrum Ramrod was a field recording of tuesday night free jam sessions in Redrum with local Providence musicians in bands such as Olneyville Sound System, Vincebus Eruptum, The White Mice, Arab On Radar, Dropdead, The Fucking Fuzz, Landed, and many side aces, loose riffin on some freeform ragas and drones. Most of us switched around to instruments we had no business with. Occasionally epic improvised dirges of sludge jazz rock blasted out the open doors and windows.
This was compiled with drawings, as fragments of many discussions, from the tables at those sessions. All presented with a paper flood of original art at a local gallery event in a funeral home in 2002. A very limited (20 copies) edition B&W double CDr with a 20 page booklet was published, sold and traded. The cheap copies of the cheap art are collected here in the bonus materials and as images for each track. This re-issue here is missing ends of the last 2 tracks.
